One penny auction site that we just did a positive review on is RitzeeBids. They launched their website recently, and we decided to take a look at the different online auctions they had. When we first took a look at the RitzeeBids website we were impressed with the quality of the products they had up for auction. The only drawback to this was that the auctions were usually still 10 hours away (and everyone knows you don’t start bidding until the last 10 seconds).
One of their auctions was for a high quality flip down dvd player, and another one was for a brand new High Definition Digital Camera that you could also make movies with. Needless to say, these were products that are sold in retail stores for over $200.
We ended up bidding on both products but in the end we only were able to win the High Definition Digital Camera. How much did it cost us? Altogether, including bids purchased and the shipping charges we ended up paying $36 for it. Not bad considering it sells for over $200.
RitzeeBids also has a wide variety of gift cards for you to choose from. Including gift cards from Home Depot, Walmart and Apple. On the other hand, if you’re looking for Big Screen Television sets and iPad 2’s, you might have some trouble finding live auctions for them.
The customer support number is clearly listed for the RitzeeBids Website, and you can reach them from 9 am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. Their website is particularly easy to use, and everything is clear to the user. The one contention we had with their penny auction site though was the fact that most of the auctions seemed to be off ten hours into the future.
Also, they have a list of winners and how much they ended up paying for each product, so we recommend you take a look at that information before you participate in their auctions.
