On another penny auction review site we read an article about a new site called Galaxy Bids. The article went on to say that they’re having a march madness penny auction bonanza. But it didn’t quite specify what the actual promotion was. We’ve never used Galaxy Bids in the past and thought it would be a good time to take a look at it now.
Although we weren’t big fans with the layout of the Galaxy Bids website, that didn’t stop us from checking them out in more detail. They didn’t have a lot of auctions going on either, which usually ends up leaving us looking for a different penny auction site.
We didn’t end up purchasing any bid packs from them mainly because they didn’t have a customer service number we could call if anything went wrong. They definitely have the feel of a new penny auction site, and don’t look like they’ve been in business long.
Another thing is that they only have 189 Facebook like’s which is usually a good gauge of how long they’ve been in business. Since they have less than 200 it’s fair to say that they’ve just started up.
Now’s particularly not a good time to be starting a new penny auction site, but nonetheless, we wish them all the luck and hope they provide customers with a unique and vibrant penny auction experience. We’ll be trying them in the coming months and seeing how they fare.
